Overview

OCI Network Firewall is a managed firewall service that offers intrusion detection and prevention for your Virtual Cloud Network (VCN). It provides advanced security features to monitor and control network traffic, ensuring robust protection against cyber threats.

This integration allows you to monitor your firewall’s health, capacity, and performance by collecting metrics and tags from the oci_network_firewall namespace.

Setup

Installation

Once you set up the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure integration, ensure that any namespaces mentioned above are included in your Connector Hub.

(count)		The number of bytes received through the firewall.

(count)		The number of bytes sent through the firewall.

oci.network_firewall.decryption_rule_hit_count
(count)		The number of times a connection matches a decryption rule.
oci.network_firewall.icmp_fragment_attacks_count
(count)		The number of ICMP fragment attacks detected.
oci.network_firewall.ip_spoof_count
(count)		Number of IP spoof attacks detected.
oci.network_firewall.land_attacks_count
(count)		The number of land attacks detected.
oci.network_firewall.mac_spoof_count
(count)		The number of MAC spoof attacks detected.
oci.network_firewall.packet_drop_count
(count)		The number of packets dropped through the firewall.
