Overview

Network Device Monitoring for VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN is currently in Preview.

This integration offers visibility into your VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN environment by collecting metrics for edge health monitoring, link performance, and flow analysis, for Network Device Monitoring.

Edge Health Monitoring

Edge Health Monitoring provides insights into the overall health and connectivity of edge devices within the VeloCloud network, allowing for proactive management and quick identification of issues impacting edge performance.

With automatic discovery of edge devices, this integration pulls in metadata to enable detailed analysis by location, edge type, and other dimensions.

Network Link Performance

Network Link Performance monitors network connections to ensure optimal link quality and connectivity between locations, allowing administrators to quickly identify and troubleshoot network issues.

Application Flow Analysis

Application Flow Analysis provides detailed visibility into application-specific traffic patterns, helping to optimize bandwidth usage and ensure critical applications maintain high performance.

Setup

Installation

  1. In the app, open the VeloCloud integration tile.
  2. Click Add Account.
  3. Choose a name for your VeloCloud account.
  4. Follow the instructions on the tile to install the integration.
