Overview
The Aruba Central integration is in Preview. Please reach out to your Datadog representative to sign up.
This integration provides comprehensive visibility into your Aruba Central Environment by collecting metrics for Network Device Monitoring
Setup
- Create Client Credentials following instructions on Aruba
- Copy generated Client ID and Client secret to a secure location. This token is required to set up the integration in Datadog.
- Select base URL from API docs to match the service to monitor.

aruba_central.application_experience_good (count) | The number of clients with a “Good” experience for the application. |
aruba_central.application_experience_poor (count) | The number of clients with a “Poor” experience for the application. |
aruba_central.application_rx_bytes (count) | The number of bytes received by the application. Shown as byte |
aruba_central.application_tx_bytes (count) | The number of bytes transmitted by the application. Shown as byte |
aruba_central.client (count) | The count of connected network clients (always 1 per client). |
aruba_central.cpu.utilization_pct (gauge) | The CPU utilization percentage of the device. Shown as percent |
aruba_central.device.count (gauge) | The count of devices with a known status (always 1 per device). |
aruba_central.device.uptime_ms (gauge) | The uptime of the device in milliseconds. Shown as millisecond |
aruba_central.memory.utilization_pct (gauge) | The memory utilization percentage of the device. Shown as percent |
aruba_central.throughput.rx_bps (gauge) | The receive throughput of the device interface in bits per second. Shown as bit |
aruba_central.throughput.tx_bps (gauge) | The transmit throughput of the device interface in bits per second. Shown as bit |
