Uninstall nftables package
Description
nftables is a subsystem of the Linux kernel providing filtering and classification of network
packets/datagrams/frames and is the successor to iptables.
The nftables
package can be removed with the following command:
$ apt-get remove nftables
Rationale
Running both firewalld
and nftables
may lead to conflict.
Shell script
The following script can be run on the host to remediate the issue.
# CAUTION: This remediation script will remove nftables
# from the system, and may remove any packages
# that depend on nftables. Execute this
# remediation AFTER testing on a non-production
# system!
DEBIAN\_FRONTEND=noninteractive apt-get remove -y "nftables"
Ansible playbook
