## Goal{% #goal %}

Detects threat activity for a specific file.

## Strategy{% #strategy %}

This rule monitors storage antimalware event logs to detect threat activity for a specific file.

## Triage and Response{% #triage-and-response %}

1. Investigate the file with hash `{{@params.events.file_hash}}` and its storage unit.
1. Check if the file status indicates that the threat was neutralized or if further manual intervention is required.
1. If not quarantined, manually isolate or delete the infected file to prevent further compromise.
1. Determine how the malicious file was introduced (e.g., through a user download, software package, or remote exploit).
1. Investigate the user actions or processes associated with this file to ensure no backdoors or persistence mechanisms remain.
