Microsoft Defender for Azure SQL Databases delivers vulnerability assessment and advanced threat protection for Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and Azure Synapse dedicated SQL pools. The plan must be enabled at the Standard tier on every subscription hosting these databases.
