To properly set the group owner of `/var/log/*.journal(~)`, run the command:

$ sudo chgrp systemd-journal /var/log/*.journal(~)
```

or

```gdscript3
$ sudo chgrp root /var/log/*.journal(~)
```

The `/var/log/*.journal(~)` files are system logs managed by the "systemd" service.
