To properly set the owner of `/var/log/(b|w)tmp(.*|-*)`, run the command:

$ sudo chown root /var/log/(b|w)tmp(.*|-*) 
```

The `/var/log/(b|w)tmp(.*|-*)` file contains logs of reports the most recent login of all users and should only be accessed by authorized personnel.
