# Azure App Service should use Python 3.14 or later

Newer versions of Python software are periodically released to address security vulnerabilities and introduce additional functionalities. This control requires Python 3.14 or later and evaluates both the App Service `python_version` field and Linux Python stack values in `linux_fx_version`. Organizations should evaluate each update for compatibility and ensure it supports their software ecosystem effectively.
