# Databricks workspaces should have public network access disabled

Ensure that public network access is disabled for Azure Databricks workspaces. Disabling public network access forces all connections to go through private endpoints, preventing direct access from the public internet.

## Remediation{% #remediation %}

Set the public network access setting to "Disabled" on your Databricks workspace. This requires private endpoints to be configured for connectivity. See [Configure Inbound Private Link](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/databricks/security/network/front-end/front-end-private-connect).
