# Azure AppService HTTP Logs Enabled

This rule checks that an Azure App Service diagnostic setting enables `AppServiceHTTPLogs`, either explicitly or through the `allLogs` category group, and sends those logs to a Log Analytics workspace, storage account, or Event Hub. HTTP logs support monitoring and troubleshooting web application performance and security.

The rule requires the App Service and its diagnostic settings to be collected. If Azure shows a compliant configuration but the rule fails, verify that the corresponding `azure_diagnostic_setting` resource, log settings, and destination are available to the evaluator.

## Remediation{% #remediation %}

Create or update a diagnostic setting on the App Service to enable `AppServiceHTTPLogs` or `allLogs` and configure a destination in that same setting.
