[OpenTelemetry](https://opentelemetry.io/) (OTel) provides standardized protocols for collecting and routing telemetry data. Datadog supports multiple ways to collect and analyze telemetry data from OpenTelemetry-instrumented applications, whether you're using existing Datadog infrastructure or prefer a vendor-neutral setup.
