Enable Kernel Parameter to Ignore Bogus ICMP Error Responses on IPv4 Interfaces

이 페이지는 아직 한국어로 제공되지 않으며 번역 작업 중입니다. 번역에 관한 질문이나 의견이 있으시면 언제든지 저희에게 연락해 주십시오.

Description

To set the runtime status of the net.ipv4.icmp_ignore_bogus_error_responses kernel parameter, run the following command:

$ sudo sysctl -w net.ipv4.icmp_ignore_bogus_error_responses=1

To make sure that the setting is persistent, add the following line to a file in the directory /etc/sysctl.d:

net.ipv4.icmp_ignore_bogus_error_responses = 1

Rationale

Ignoring bogus ICMP error responses reduces log size, although some activity would not be logged.
