Description

All AWS accounts within an organization should have an active membership status. Suspended accounts may indicate security incidents, policy violations, or orphaned resources that require investigation. Monitoring account status ensures all accounts are properly managed and operational within the organization.

Remediation

Review any accounts with a non-active status. For suspended accounts, determine whether they should be reactivated or permanently closed. For guidance, refer to Managing AWS accounts in your organization.
