Overview

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Recovery Service provides automated backup and recovery for Oracle databases running on OCI. It offers continuous backup protection, point-in-time recovery, and long-term retention of database backups to meet business continuity and compliance requirements.

This integration collects metrics from the oci_recovery_service namespace to monitor and alert on the health, capacity, and performance of your protected databases.

Setup

Installation

After the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure integration is set up, ensure that any namespaces mentioned in the Overview are included in your Connector Hub.

The amount of storage space that is currently used to meet the recovery window goal for the protected database.

(gauge)
The total storage space consumed by a database protected by Recovery Service.
Shown as gigabyte
oci.recovery_service.protected_database_health
(gauge)
Indicates the current protection status or health of the database. A value of 0 indicates that the database is Protected. A value of 1 indicates a Warning status due to a potential data loss exposure. A value of 2 indicates an Alert status if the latest backup has failed.

Indicates the time since the last valid backup, or the amount of time for potential data loss.
