Overview

MuleSoft is an enterprise integration platform that helps businesses connect data, applications, and devices across their on-premises and cloud computing environments.

This MuleSoft Observability integration is an OpenTelemetry-based integration that sends your MuleSoft applications observability and telemetry data to Datadog. The MuleSoft modules allow your MuleSoft applications to collect a distributed trace and generate spans for all flows and a configurable set of processors. This integration also provides support for sending Anypoint platform and application level metrics and provides an OpenTelemetry compatible Log4j appender to be used within MuleSoft applications.

Included are the following out-of-the-box dashboards to visualize the platform and application level metrics:

  1. Anypoint Platform - Organization and Business Groups: Use these dashboards to understand what resources are available to your organization and how they are being used.
  2. Anypoint Platform - Executive Summary: A high level dashboard to help understand the overall usage of your Anypoint Platform subscription.
  3. Mule Applications: Visualize application and system-level metrics for one or more MuleSoft applications including CPU, JVM and MuleSoft metrics.
