# Zoom Incident Management
Supported OS
## Overview{% #overview %}

Integrate with Zoom Incident Management to enable one-click and criteria-based Zoom meeting creation for Datadog incidents.

## Setup{% #setup %}

### Installation{% #installation %}

A Zoom account can only be associated with one organization at a time. To install this integration on multiple organizations, use a different Zoom account for each.

1. Navigate to the [Zoom Incident Management integration tile](https://app.datadoghq.com/integrations?integrationId=zoom-incident-management).
1. To begin the installation, click the **Configure** tab.
1. After reading the instructions in the modal, click **Authorize**, which redirects you to a Zoom login page.
1. Log in to Zoom with a Zoom administrator's account.
1. A screen appears requesting access to the `meeting:write:meeting:admin` scope, which allows Datadog to create Zoom meetings on behalf of your users. Click **Accept**.
1. After you accept the permissions, you're redirected back to the Zoom Incident Management integration tile and can begin using Zoom features for Datadog incidents.

## Permissions{% #permissions %}

Zoom Incident Management requires the following OAuth scopes.

### Scopes{% #scopes %}

| Scopes                        | Request Reason                                                                                                                                                         |

| `meeting:write:meeting:admin` | Enables user to start instant Zoom meetings within a Datadog incident. Enables Datadog to automatically create meetings on behalf of a user within a Datadog incident. |

## Usage{% #usage %}

### Enabling one-click Zoom meetings{% #enabling-one-click-zoom-meetings %}

To enable one-click Zoom meetings for incidents,

1. Navigate to the [Incident Integration Settings](https://docs.datadoghq.com/service_management/incident_management/incident_settings/integrations/).
1. Scroll to the Zoom section.
1. Enable the **Enable Zoom meeting creation** toggle.
1. Click **Save**.

After enabling one-click Zoom meetings, start a Zoom meeting by clicking **Create Zoom Meeting** from the incident header.

You are redirected to instantly join the meeting either through the browser or the native Zoom client. The email of the Datadog user creating the meeting serves as the host email and must be associated with an authorized Zoom account. If the email is not registered, Datadog will attempt to use the email of the fallback Zoom user if configured. For more information, see the Adding a fallback Zoom user instructions.

### Enabling automatic creation{% #enabling-automatic-creation %}

To enable automatic, criteria-based Zoom meetings for incidents:

1. Navigate to the [Incident Integration Settings](https://docs.datadoghq.com/service_management/incident_management/incident_settings/integrations/).
1. Scroll to the Zoom section.
1. Enable the **Enable Zoom meeting creation** toggle.
   1. Enable the **Automatically create Zoom meetings** toggle.
   1. (Optional) Specify the incident criteria that creates a Zoom meeting. If left blank, any changes to an incident without an existing Zoom meeting will create a Zoom meeting.
1. Click **Save**.

When an incident meets the criteria, a Zoom meeting is created using the email of the Incident Commander. If the email is not associated with an authorized Zoom account or the incident does not have an Incident Commander, Datadog will attempt to use the email of the fallback Zoom user if configured. For more information, see the Adding a fallback Zoom user instructions.

**Note**: To use automatic Zoom meeting creation in a *test incident*, make sure **Execute integrations** is selected in the test incident creation modal. Otherwise, the Zoom integration does not run as part of the test and the meeting is not automatically created.

### Slack bookmark{% #slack-bookmark %}

Add important links from Zoom to the incident Slack channel's bookmarks:

1. Navigate to the [Incident Integration Settings](https://docs.datadoghq.com/service_management/incident_management/incident_settings/integrations/).
1. Scroll to the Slack section.
1. Enable the **Add important links to the incident channel's bookmarks** toggle.

If an incident Slack channel exists, this feature adds a bookmark for the Zoom meeting to that channel.

For more information on Slack features, see the [Integrations - Slack features](https://docs.datadoghq.com/service_management/incident_management/incident_settings/integrations#slack-features) documentation.

### Adding a fallback Zoom user{% #adding-a-fallback-zoom-user %}

Configure a fallback Zoom user to handle situations where a host email cannot be resolved in the authorized Zoom account. Common situations include:

- The email of the Datadog user manually creating a Zoom meeting does not exist in the authorized Zoom account.
- The incident does not have an Incident Commander when automatically creating a Zoom meeting.
- The Incident Commander's Datadog email does not exist in the authorized Zoom account when automatically creating a Zoom meeting.

To configure a fallback Zoom user:

1. Navigate to the [Incident Integration Settings](https://docs.datadoghq.com/service_management/incident_management/incident_settings/integrations/).
1. Scroll to the Zoom section.
1. Enable the **Enable Zoom meeting creation** toggle.
   1. Enter an email in the sub-section "Fallback user account". This email must be associated with an authorized Zoom account. To avoid integration issues when an employee leaves the company, designate a shared user within the authorized Zoom account.
   1. You can configure the fallback Zoom user to be the host of all Zoom meetings by toggling **Always use this account as the meeting host**.
1. Click **Save**.

## Removing the App{% #removing-the-app %}

To uninstall the Zoom Incident Management integration, navigate to the Zoom Incident Management tile and click the "Configure" tab. Click **Uninstall Integration**.

To remove the Datadog Incident Management app from the Zoom account, visit the app in the [Zoom marketplace](https://marketplace.zoom.us/) using a Zoom administrator's account.

## Data Collected{% #data-collected %}

Zoom Incident Management collects the meeting url and password from Zoom's [Create Meeting](https://developers.zoom.us/docs/api/rest/reference/zoom-api/methods/#operation/meetingCreate) API to display them in the Incident Management product.
