# VictorOps

## Overview{% #overview %}

Use the Datadog-VictorOps integration to send Datadog alerts to VictorOps, gain precise control over routing and escalation, and automatically close alerts when the monitors recover. See the problems faster, and reduce time to resolution by creating alerts using **@victorops**:

- From your event stream
- By taking a snapshot
- When a metric alert is triggered

1. On your VictorOps settings page, click "Integrations"
1. Click "Datadog", then "Enable Integration"
1. Copy your key
1. Back to Datadog, paste the API key in the next section here

### Monitor notifications{% #monitor-notifications %}

VictorOps only supports one routing key per monitor notification body. If you add multiple VictorOps `@` handles in your monitors, the notification only goes to the first one.
