Overview

Vanta helps businesses earn and prove trust by ingesting data from customers’ systems of record and mapping that data to audit framework controls as evidence for audit. By integrating Datadog with Vanta, customers can ingest data about user accounts and cloud monitoring alerts into Vanta. Vanta associates the data with relevant framework controls to help automate the collection of evidence for audit.

Setup

To connect Vanta and Datadog:

1. Navigate to the Integrations page in your Vanta tenant.
2. Click Connect.
3. In Datadog, navigate to Organization Settings.
4. For the application key, create an application key on the Application Keys page.
5. For the API key, create an API key on the API Keys page, then enter the value in Vanta.
6. For the region, select AP1, EU, US, US3, US5, or US1-FED. To determine your region, see Datadog sites.\
7. Back in Vanta, on the connection page, enter your Datadog application key, API key, and region.
8. Click Done.

Uninstallation

1. Navigate to the Integrations Page in your Vanta tenant.
2. Search for Datadog under your Connected integrations.
3. Click “Manage.”
4. Click “Delete all API Keys.”
5. “Confirm.”
