The Datadog-Statsig integration enables Statsig to send events and metrics to help you monitor your product and services and visualize how feature gate rollouts or configuration changes affect the rest of your ecosystem.

## Setup{% #setup %}

### Installation{% #installation %}

No installation is required to setup the Statsig integration.

### Configuration{% #configuration %}

1. Copy your Datadog API key.
1. [Navigate to the Integrations tab in the Statsig console](https://console.statsig.com/integrations).
1. Click on the Datadog card.
1. Paste in your API key in the top field and click Confirm.

## Data Collected{% #data-collected %}

The Statsig integration does not collect any data from Datadog.

### Metrics{% #metrics %}

| **statsig.log\_event.count**(count)  | Number of events logged from Statsig           |
| **statsig.check\_gate.count**(count) | Number of feature gates checked from Statsig   |
| **statsig.get\_config.count**(count) | Number of dynamic configs checked from Statsig |

### Service Checks{% #service-checks %}

The Statsig integration does not include any service checks.

### Events{% #events %}

The Statsig integration sends configuration change events on Statsig to Datadog. For instance, updated feature gates or new integrations.
