## Overview{% #overview %}

The Datadog–Sentry integration is an MCP-based integration that enables Datadog to securely access a [Sentry MCP server instance](https://docs.sentry.io/ai/mcp/). Through this integration, the Bits AI SRE agent is granted access to designated Sentry projects and error monitoring data exposed through the available MCP tools. This includes access to error events, issues, stack traces, and release data to help contextualize and investigate application failures. During the Preview period, Bits AI SRE investigations that include one or more Sentry tool calls will not be billed.

## Setup{% #setup %}
