## Overview{% #overview %}

Prilog helps engineering teams automatically investigate and resolve software issues using observability data and code context.

With the Datadog integration, Prilog connects to your existing monitoring workflow and uses Datadog signals such as errors, logs, traces, and service context to better understand production issues. Prilog analyzes this data alongside your codebase to identify likely root causes and assist engineers with actionable debugging insights and AI-generated fix suggestions.

When possible, Prilog can help move teams from detection to remediation by proposing code-level fixes through GitHub pull requests. This enables engineering teams to reduce manual investigation time, resolve incidents faster, and improve overall software reliability.

Prilog pairs with Datadog by extending observability into automated root-cause analysis and AI-assisted remediation, helping teams close the gap between knowing something is broken and shipping a fix.

## Setup{% #setup %}

Setup Instructions

1. Go to [Prilog](https://app.prilog.ai/) and sign up for an account.
1. Complete the onboarding flow.
1. When prompted to select an integration, choose Datadog from the list of available integrations.
1. Authenticate with Datadog using OAuth and approve the requested permissions. After connecting, Prilog uses the Datadog integration to support issue investigation, root-cause analysis, and remediation workflows.

## Uninstallation{% #uninstallation %}

To uninstall the Datadog integration from Prilog, you can use either of the following options:

Option 1: Delete your Prilog organization

Deleting your Prilog organization removes the Datadog connection and associated integration data.

Option 2: Remove or replace the Datadog integration

In the Prilog app, go to **Settings** → **Integrations** and disconnect Datadog by removing it or selecting another integration.

After the Datadog integration is removed, Prilog no longer uses Datadog data for your organization's workflows.
