## Overview{% #overview %}

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Cloud Events is a managed service that enables event-driven architectures by routing event notifications between OCI services and custom applications.

This integration allows you to monitor event delivery and routing for your OCI Events rules by collecting metrics from the [`oci_cloudevents`](https://docs.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/Content/Events/Reference/eventsmetrics.htm) namespace.

After you set up the [Oracle Cloud Infrastructure](https://docs.datadoghq.com/integrations/oracle_cloud_infrastructure.md) integration, ensure that the `oci_cloudevents` namespace is included in your [Connector Hub](https://cloud.oracle.com/connector-hub/service-connectors).
