## Overview{% #overview %}

Connect Jira Service Management Operations (JSM Ops) to Datadog to create and close on-call alerts in Jira Service Management Ops. Automatically import your on-call response teams and begin notifying them through monitors by using `@jsm_ops` in monitor descriptions.

## Setup{% #setup %}

1. Click the "Add Account" button to connect your JSM account.
1. Complete the OAuth 2.0 flow.
1. Your on-call Response Teams will then be automatically populated, and you can begin using `@jsm_ops-<response_team>` handles in your monitors.

### Migrating from Opsgenie{% #migrating-from-opsgenie %}

If you are migrating to JSM Ops from Opsgenie, begin by following the Setup instructions above for your JSM Ops account. After your account has been validated and your JSM Ops handles have been auto-populated, you can migrate any existing `@opsgenie` monitor handles to `@jsm_ops` by following this [documentation](https://docs.datadoghq.com/monitors/notify.md#bulk-editing-monitor--handles).

### Configuring a JSM Ops Webhook{% #configuring-a-jsm-ops-webhook %}

Enable Internal Developer Portal to surface real-time updates to your JSM Ops alerts, schedules, and teams by enabling JSM Ops webhooks.

To set up your webhook in JSM Ops:

1. Next to **Operations** in your JSM Ops sidebar, select **More actions**, then **General configuration**.
1. Select **Integrations** and then **Add integration**.
1. Search and select **Webhook**.
1. On the next screen, enter `Datadog Webhook` as the webhook name.
1. Do not select an assignee team; leave it as `None`.
1. Navigate to the Datadog Jira Service Management Ops integration tile. Under **Webhook configuration instructions**, copy the webhook URL.
1. Return to the configuration page within your JSM Ops instance and select **Edit** on the integration configuration page.a. Select **Authenticate with a Webhook account** and paste the webhook URL into **Webhook URL**.b. Select **Add alert description to payload** and **Add alert details to payload**.c. Select **Save**.
1. Under **Alert actions**, select all actions.
1. Select **Turn on integration**. JSM Ops will begin sending webhooks to Datadog.

## Uninstallation{% #uninstallation %}

To uninstall the integration, delete all JSM accounts.
