Honeybadger provides exception and uptime monitoring to keep your web apps error-free. Connect Honeybadger to Datadog to get Honeybadger alerts in your Datadog event stream.

## Setup{% #setup %}

### Installation{% #installation %}

To capture errors from Honeybadger:

1. Open your Honeybadger [project list](https://app.honeybadger.io/users/sign_in).
1. Click on "Settings" for the project you want to monitor.
1. Click on "Alerts & Integrations".
1. Select "Datadog" as a new integration.
1. Add your [API key](https://app.datadoghq.com/organization-settings/api-keys).
1. Save the integration.
1. Click the **Install Integration** button on the [Honeybadger Integration Tile](https://app.datadoghq.com/account/settings#integrations/honeybadger).
