Grafana Tempo MCP

Integration version1.0.0

To find out if this integration is available in your organization, see your Datadog Integrations page or ask your organization administrator.

Overview

The Datadog–Grafana Tempo integration is an MCP-based integration that enables Datadog to securely access a Grafana Tempo MCP server instance. Through this integration, the Bits AI SRE agent is granted access to tracing data exposed through the Tempo MCP server.

Note that this integration only supports Grafana Tempo MCP tools. There is a separate Grafana MCP integration that supports other tools like Prometheus metrics and Loki logs.

During the Preview period, Bits AI SRE investigations that include one or more Grafana Tempo tool calls will not be billed.
