## Overview{% #overview %}

Google Security Operations (Google SecOps), formerly Chronicle, is Google Cloud's security operations platform for ingesting, normalizing, and analyzing security telemetry data at scale for threat detection, investigation, and response.

Use the Datadog Google Cloud Platform integration to collect metrics from Google Security Operations, including forwarder health, log ingestion, and log processing pipeline performance.

## Setup{% #setup %}

### Installation{% #installation %}

If you haven't already, set up the [Google Cloud Platform integration](https://docs.datadoghq.com/integrations/google-cloud-platform.md) first. There are no other installation steps.
