## Overview{% #overview %}

[Google Cloud Identity Toolkit](https://cloud.google.com/identity-platform/docs) (part of Identity Platform) is a customer identity and access management (CIAM) platform that lets you add authentication, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and reCAPTCHA-based fraud protection to your applications.

Use the Datadog Google Cloud Platform integration to monitor sign-in volume, MFA enrollment and challenge attempts, reCAPTCHA risk scores, weak password sign-ins, and SMS usage for your Identity Toolkit deployment.

The Google Cloud Identity Toolkit check requires the [Google Cloud Platform integration](https://docs.datadoghq.com/integrations/google-cloud-platform.md) to be configured. No additional installation is needed once the Google Cloud Platform integration is set up.
