## Overview{% #overview %}

[Cloud Healthcare API](https://docs.cloud.google.com/healthcare-api/docs/introduction) stores, accesses, and integrates healthcare data using industry-standard formats, including DICOM for medical imaging, HL7v2 for clinical messages, and FHIR for clinical resources.

Use the Datadog Google Cloud Platform integration to collect metrics about the mapping and reconciliation pipeline jobs that process data within Cloud Healthcare API, including backlog size and processed element counts.
