## Overview{% #overview %}

[Google Cloud Fleet Engine](https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/mobility/fleet-engine) is a backend platform for managing vehicle fleets across on-demand trip and delivery businesses. Google Cloud Monitoring publishes metrics for Fleet Engine, including billable trip and shipment task counts.

Use the Datadog Google Cloud Platform integration to collect metrics about the usage of your Fleet Engine deployment.

If you haven't already, set up the [Google Cloud Platform integration](https://docs.datadoghq.com/integrations/google-cloud-platform.md) first. There are no other installation steps.
