## Overview{% #overview %}

[Google Earth Engine](https://cloud.google.com/earth-engine) is a cloud-based geospatial analysis platform that combines a multi-petabyte catalog of satellite imagery and geospatial datasets with large-scale computational capabilities. Scientists, researchers, and developers use it to detect, analyze, and monitor changes on the Earth's surface, such as deforestation, water resources, agriculture, and climate patterns.

Use the Datadog Google Cloud Platform integration to collect metrics from Google Cloud Earth Engine.
