## Overview{% #overview %}

Google Cloud Blockchain Node Engine is a fully managed node-hosting service that lets you run dedicated blockchain nodes without managing the underlying infrastructure. It provisions managed Ethereum nodes so you can relay transactions, deploy smart contracts, and read or write blockchain data on Google Cloud's compute and network infrastructure.

Use the Datadog Google Cloud Platform integration to collect metrics from Google Cloud Blockchain Node Engine.

If you haven't already, set up the [Google Cloud Platform integration](https://docs.datadoghq.com/integrations/google-cloud-platform.md) first. There are no other installation steps.
