## Overview{% #overview %}

[BigQuery BI Engine](https://cloud.google.com/bigquery/docs/bi-engine-intro) is an in-memory analysis service that accelerates SQL queries and speeds up business intelligence dashboards built on BigQuery data. Use the Datadog Google Cloud Platform integration to monitor BI Engine request counts, latencies, and reservation capacity and usage.

If you haven't already, set up the [Google Cloud Platform integration](https://docs.datadoghq.com/integrations/google-cloud-platform.md) first. There are no other installation steps.
