[**UpGuard**](https://www.UpGuard.com/) is a software solution that helps businesses monitor first-party and third-party risks. It provides vulnerability detection, security ratings, breach detection, and compliance monitoring to safeguard IT infrastructure. With continuous risk assessments and automated alerts, UpGuard ensures proactive threat mitigation.

The integration allows you to continuously monitor your security posture, detect data exposures, and identify leaked credentials. Use this integration to collect **breach risk data** as metrics and **audit logs** in Datadog.

### Dashboards{% #dashboards %}

This integration includes **one out-of-the-box dashboard**:

1. **UpGuard**: Monitor and visualize first-party security scores, risks, domains, IPs, vulnerabilities, breaches, typosquatting, and vendor summaries. It also contains a **Notifications** section that displays important audit activities.

### Validation{% #validation %}

[Run the Agent's status subcommand](https://docs.datadoghq.com/agent/guide/agent-commands.md#agent-status-and-information) and look for `crest_data_systems_upguard` under the Checks section.

For more detailed logs, run:

- **Linux**:
  ```sh
  sudo datadog-agent check crest_data_systems_upguard --log-level debug
  ```
- **Windows**:
  ```powershell

### Service Checks{% #service-checks %}

**cds.upguard.status**

Returns `CRITICAL` if the user configurations are invalid or authentication fails. Returns `OK` otherwise.

*Statuses: ok, critical*
