## Overview{% #overview %}

pfSense is an open source customized distribution of FreeBSD that is specifically tailored for use as a firewall and router that can be managed through a web interface.

This integration monitors logs for firewalls, OpenVPN, NGINX, and DHCP from pfSense CE.

This integration includes 5 out-of-the-box dashboards:

- **pfSense Overview**: Provides an overview of pfSense CE logs.
- **pfSense DHCP Details**: Provides detailed information related to pfSense CE DHCP logs.
- **pfSense OpenVPN Details**: Provides detailed information related to pfSense CE OpenVPN logs.
- **pfSense Firewall Details**: Provides detailed information related to pfSense CE firewall logs.
- **pfSense NGINX Details**: Provides detailed information related to pfSense CE NGINX logs.

**Note**: Metric support has been discontinued in v2.0.0.
