## Overview{% #overview %}

[**Bitsight**](https://www.bitsight.com/) provides cyber risk analytics and security ratings to help companies understand and manage their cybersecurity risks. By analyzing various data points, Bitsight assigns objective, data-driven security ratings that help businesses assess their own security posture and the risk posed by third-party vendors. These ratings are used by companies, governments, and investors to identify vulnerabilities, monitor security performance, and make informed decisions about cyber risk.

This integration collects company details, security ratings, alerts, findings, and threats data from Bitsight.

This integration includes four out-of-the-box dashboards:

- Bitsight - Company Overview : Provides an overview of company details and its ratings from Bitsight.
- Bitsight - Alerts : Provides an overview of alerts from Bitsight.
- Bitsight - Findings : Provides an overview of findings from Bitsight.
- Bitsight - Threats : Provides an overview of threats from Bitsight.

The Bitsight integration collects logs for company details and its ratings, alerts, findings, and threats.

### Service Checks{% #service-checks %}

**crest\_data\_systems\_bitsight.can\_connect**

Returns `CRITICAL` if the user configurations are invalid or authentication with Bitsight has failed. Returns `OK` otherwise.
