## Overview{% #overview %}

[**Airtable**](https://airtable.com/) is a cloud-based collaboration platform that combines the simplicity of a spreadsheet with the functionality of a database. It allows users to organize, manage, and track information in a highly customizable way.

This integration collects Airtable audit logs in Datadog and provides valuable visibility into user activity for improved security monitoring. It includes an out-of-the-box dashboard and a set of preconfigured detection rules to help you quickly identify unusual or suspicious behavior.

Built-in detection rules for [Datadog Cloud SIEM](https://docs.datadoghq.com/security/cloud_siem.md):

1. Suspicious activity performed by a user in Airtable
1. Multiple password change attempts detected in Airtable
1. Unusual activity originating from a different geographical location in Airtable

**cds.airtable.status**

Returns `CRITICAL` if the user configurations are invalid or authentication fails. Returns `OK` otherwise.
