Overview
Base44 is a no-code AI development platform that turns builders’ ideas into fully functional apps and websites.
This integration brings Datadog observability data directly into the Base44 workspace, eliminating context switching for teams building operational tools. Builders can create custom applications that display infrastructure health, monitor alerts, and track incidents without leaving Base44.
The integration uses a secure, read-only OAuth 2.0 connection. Base44 fetches Datadog dashboards, monitors, incidents, hosts, and events data, allowing builders to visualize and act on this information within custom Base44 applications, such as showing unhealthy hosts grouped by tags or displaying active incidents alongside internal workflows.
All data flows one way. Base44 reads from Datadog and submits nothing back - in Datadog’s terms, the integration consumes incidents and events.
Setup
Prerequisites
- An active Base44 account (you can create one during setup if you don’t have one yet).
- Permissions in your Datadog organization to install integrations and authorize OAuth apps.
- In Datadog, navigate to Integrations, select the Base44 tile, and click Install Integration.
- Click Connect Accounts to start the authorization process. You will be redirected to Base44 to complete the setup.
- If you don’t have a Base44 account, you are prompted to create one.
- Enter your Datadog site domain (for example, datadoghq.com, us3.datadoghq.com, or datadoghq.eu).
- Review the requested permissions and click Connect.
- After authorization, you are redirected back to Datadog, and the connection shows as active.
- You can now build applications in Base44 using your connected Datadog data. For example, prompt the Base44 AI builder to “show my Datadog monitors” or “display active incidents” to start building.
Uninstallation
- In Datadog, navigate to Integrations, select the Base44 tile, and click Uninstall Integration.
- Once this integration has been uninstalled, any previous authorizations are revoked.
- Additionally, search for the integration name on the API Keys page and confirm that all API keys associated with this integration have been disabled.
- Optionally, in Base44, open the application that was connected to Datadog. Navigate to the Integrations tab and locate the Datadog connection under App connections. Remove the Datadog connection there as well to clear the stored connection on the Base44 side.
