## Overview{% #overview %}

[Azure Stream Analytics](https://learn.microsoft.com/azure/stream-analytics/stream-analytics-introduction) is a managed stream processing engine that analyzes large volumes of streaming data from sources such as applications, devices, sensors, and clickstreams.

Use the Datadog Azure integration to collect metrics from Azure Stream Analytics.

If you haven't already, set up the [Microsoft Azure integration](https://docs.datadoghq.com/integrations/azure.md) first. There are no other installation steps.
