## Overview{% #overview %}

[Azure Log Analytics](https://learn.microsoft.com/azure/azure-monitor/logs/log-analytics-workspace-overview) workspaces store and query log and metric data from Azure services and from installed agents. This integration surfaces workspace data export metrics along with the host metrics that agents report into the workspace.

If you haven't already, set up the [Microsoft Azure integration](https://docs.datadoghq.com/integrations/azure.md) first. There are no other installation steps.
