## Overview{% #overview %}

Alibaba Cloud IPAM (IP Address Manager) is a service for planning, allocating, and monitoring IP address CIDR blocks across your VPCs, VSwitches, and IPAM pools.

Use this integration to monitor IP address utilization, CIDR compliance, and overlap status across your IPAM pools, VPCs, and VSwitches by collecting metrics from the Alibaba Cloud IPAM service.

After you set up the [Alibaba Cloud](https://docs.datadoghq.com/integrations/alibaba_cloud.md) integration, ensure that the IPAM service is included in your Alibaba Cloud monitoring configuration.
