Overview
Oracle Web Application Firewall (WAF) protects applications from malicious and unwanted internet traffic with a cloud-based, PCI-compliant, global web application firewall service.
This integration allows you to monitor and alert on the health, capacity, and performance of your fireall by collecting metrics and tags from the [oci_waf][1] namespace.
Setup
Installation
Once you set up the [Oracle Cloud Infrastructure][2] integration, ensure that any namespaces mentioned above are included in your [Connector Hub][3].
Data Collected
Metrics
oci.waf.bandwidth
(gauge) | Bandwidth rate calculated by dividing total data egress in a minute by 60.

oci.waf.number_of_requests
(count) | The total number of requests serviced by the WAF.

oci.waf.number_of_requests_detected
(count) | The number of requests that triggered a detect (alert) for a WAF policy.
Shown as request |
oci.waf.traffic
(gauge) | Data egress from the WAF (compressed by default) measured in one minute intervals.
