Overview

Illumio is a cybersecurity company that specializes in Zero Trust Segmentation to prevent the spread of breaches. It provides visibility into application traffic and enforces micro-segmentation across data centers and cloud environments. This integration ingests workloads, VENs, events, and traffic flows data from Illumio Policy Compute Engine (PCE) into Datadog as logs, along with database metrics for traffic flows.

Dashboards

This integration includes the following out-of-the-box dashboards:

  1. Illumio Workload & VENs: Provides visibility and status of workloads and VENs for security and performance monitoring.
  2. Illumio Events: Provides real-time event monitoring and analysis.
  3. Illumio Traffic Flows: Visualize and analyze traffic flows.
  4. Illumio Overview: Displays key metrics for workloads, VENs, traffic flows and events.

Service Checks

cds.illumio.status

Returns CRITICAL if configurations are invalid or authentication fails. Returns OK otherwise.
