## Overview{% #overview %}

Azure Data Explorer is a fully managed analytics service for fast queries over large volumes of log, telemetry, and timeseries data. This integration collects cluster health, ingestion, query, and materialized view metrics from your Azure Data Explorer clusters so you can:

- Track ingestion, processing, and latency performance of your clusters.
- Monitor the CPU, cache, and ingestion capacity your clusters use.

If you haven't already, set up the [Microsoft Azure integration](https://docs.datadoghq.com/integrations/azure.md) first. There are no other installation steps.
