## Overview{% #overview %}

[BigQuery Data Transfer Service](https://cloud.google.com/bigquery/docs/dts-introduction) automates the scheduling and management of recurring data loads from external sources into BigQuery. Use the Datadog Google Cloud integration to monitor transfer run status, duration, and row counts.

The BigQuery Data Transfer Service integration is part of the [Google Cloud Platform integration](https://docs.datadoghq.com/integrations/google-cloud-platform.md). No additional installation is needed on your server.
