The migration app automates migration of the metadata such as dashboards and queries only. Make sure you have the relevant onboarded data from various sources into the Datadog platform prior to using this application. It’s important that your Datadog account already contains data similar to what is in New Relic to ensure a seamless visualization transition.
Data privacy assurance: Crest Data does not have access to any data in your New Relic or Datadog environment. We operate solely with the metadata information you connect. Our platform does not interact with or process any of the actual data from your environments, ensuring your data privacy and security.
With the remote option, you can input their API key to retrieve the dashboard details for migration. This option includes support for dashboard migration. With the offline option, .json files are supported for dashboard migration and .csv files for any type of query, whether it is a panel query or a search query.
