Autonomous Database in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is a fully managed database service that automates provisioning, tuning, scaling, patching, and backups. It is optimized for high performance, security, and availability, while reducing administrative overhead. The service supports both transaction processing and data warehousing workloads, allowing users to run applications or analytics without managing database infrastructure.
