# RDS Tenant Database

An RDS Tenant Database represents a pluggable database within an Oracle container database managed by Amazon RDS Custom for Oracle. It allows isolating schemas, users, and workloads inside a single CDB while still benefiting from RDS automation for provisioning, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
