# Create a case view{% #create-a-case-view %}

### Overview

Creates a new saved case view with a name, filter query, and associated project. Optionally, a notification rule can be linked to the view.

OAuth apps require the `cases_write` authorization [scope](https://docs.datadoghq.com/api/latest/scopes.md#case-management) to access this endpoint.
